We are based in Germany. One of our main interests is the US - the states in the west and southwest as well as along Historic Route 66. We visit the States frequently, always looking for new photographic locations along the many roads and backroads including abandoned ghost towns and typical "Americana" scenes.

In October 2019, Ellen's first photography book, A Matter Of Time: Route 66 Through The Lens Of Change, narrated by Nick Gerlich, was published at University of Oklahoma Press.
In May 2022, ROUTE 66: Westwärts auf Amerikas legendärem Highway, our German Route 66 photography book was published in the Edition Bildperlen. The book is narrated by Nick Gerlich and Udo Klinkel.
